Despite the fact that from Lochristi you can reach all the major cities in Belgium in +/- 45 minutes, the immediate surroundings are worthwhile visiting as well for a business trip as for a family with children. The economic heart of Ghent and Ghent harbour are at a stone throw away, whereas for relaxation you can start right around the corner of the apartment with a walk in nature, a cycling tour through the beautiful rural landscape or for a Belgian beer at the terrace or a culinary ‘bite to eat’ in the village.
