Vinyard Haven Retreat is the perfect escape to a tranquil retreat amidst the vines and bushland of the picturesque Tamar Ridge. This charming one bedroom unit boasts stunning views of the Tamar River, vineyards, and hills beyond, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. As you step inside you'll be greeted by floor to ceiling windows and the inviting atmosphere of this cosy unit, complete with modern amenities and comfortable furnishings. The spacious bedroom features a king-sized bed and ample storage, while the kitchenette is equipped with all you need to prepare simple meals. Unwind on the private balcony, taking in the breathtaking views. Enjoy your favourite beverage as the sunsets over the hills, or just soak up the peaceful atmosphere. This idyllic unit is the perfect base for exploring the region's renown wineries, cellar doors and restaurants. The Tamar Ridge Cellar Door and Turners Still House are on your door step for wine and gin tasting. Grindelwald Village Resort is only a short 1km drive away, a range of activities including shopping, cafes, Splash Golf, a 10-hole public golf course, 18-hole mini-golf course, paddle boat and canoe hire. Or, simply relax.
My husband Matt and I are born and bred Tasmanians with a passion for all things Tasmanian. Vineyard Haven contains tastes of Tasmania that are favourites of ours. The Retreat itself is one of our favourite places in Tasmania, coming here often ourselves to have a peaceful getaway. We are not on site, but can be contacted by phone or email.
Just 15 minutes from Launceston City Centre, other local attractions include Tasmania Zoo, Seahorse World, Platypus House, Beaconsfield Mine and Heritage Centre, Brady's Lookout and Batman Bridge. Near by restaurants include Alpenrose Bistro and Bar, The Rosevears Hotel, The Ducks Bar and Restaurant and the Legana Tavern Bar and Bistro. Legana shopping centre is a 5 minute drive, here you will find a Woolworths, Bottle Shop, Chemist, Banjo's, Cafes, Reject Shop and more. An IGA can be found at Exeter.
