Tuncurry is the sister town of Forster, divided only by a dual vehicle & pedestrian bridge, and it sure has equal amounts to offer! Enjoy awesome surfing breaks at Tuncurry Beach (aka Nine Mile Beach), or try your luck at fishing with an abundance of fishing opportunities to choose from. Just 800 metres from the property, Lone Pine Park and the Tuncurry Water Playground provide fun for kids and a place to unwind by the water. The area also offers plenty to do on dry land. Enjoy a round at the award-winning Tuncurry Golf Course, catch the latest films at the local cinema, or learn about the region’s rich history at the Great Lakes Museum. Only 1.6 kilometres away, the Tuncurry Rockpool is a calm, family-friendly swimming spot with picnic areas, barbecues, a café, playground, and soft sand for lounging in the sun. A walk along the nearby breakwall offers panoramic views across the Forster–Tuncurry coastline and is a great place to spot dolphins or enjoy the sea breeze.
