Coastal Style Pavilion House, Sea Views, Big Decks & 1 street from Beach – ‘Duney’

Built in 2015 to take advantage of the views of Middleton beach and the surrounding bush, this 4 bedroom single story contemporary home is designed for beach holiday enjoyment. It has four decks (perfect for finding the perfect spot for the weather conditions), a coastal fully enclosed back yard, sliding doors and a stylish interior. The home is one street back from the beach and it takes only 3 mins to walk.
This pavilion style beach house is large and spacious and has a beautiful open coastal feel. There are views of the sea and you can hear the waves crashing whilst sitting on the beautiful deck surrounding almost the whole house. There are loads of windows which allow light to stream in throughout the day. Sitting on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee, listening to the waves and enjoying the quiet serenity is a favourite thing to do at the house. You can also enjoy the sunrise or sunset from the four decks.
With its four bedrooms, the property sleeps 10 people. There are two bathrooms (main bedroom with ensuite) and three toilets. There is a separate bath in the main bathroom.
The bedding configuration is as follows:
Bedroom 1: King (sleeps 2)
Bedroom 2: Queen (sleeps 2)
Bedroom 3: Queen (sleeps 2)
Bedroom 4: 1 Queen Bed (bottom bunk 2 Adults and top bunk 2 Children, Sleeps 4)
The beds will be freshly made for guest arrival with sheets, pillowcases and quilt covers. Bath towels, mats, hand towels and tea towels are all supplied.
Please note that the property sleeps up to 8 adults only (the top queen bunk bed is not suitable for adults).
Please note that this property is not available for Schoolies booking and doesn't accept 25 December Arrival/Departure.

Best Beach, Walks & Parks
Bird hide
Bird Hide, Goolwa – far end of Barrage Rd, past Bristow-Smith Ave. Birds to see include Caspian and Crested Tern, Great Crested Grebe, Eurasian Coot, Comorants, Raptors and Pelicans.
Bristow Smith Reserve Nature Playspace
“Nature Playspace” Bristow Smith Reserve, Goolwa – located on the river, its features nclude a wooden climbing boat, logs, ropes, tunnels, swings sculptures and a carved tree! Popular with adults and kids alike. Head to Barrage Rd, Goolwa South.
Encounter Wetlands
A lovely walk particular in windy conditions as its far more sheltered than the beach. Located at Matthew Flinders Drive (on the other side of Tabernacle Road) this reserve has shelters and a walking path to enjoy this natural haven. Encounter Wetlands is an attractive parkland area that utilises the natural wetlands of Encounter Bay.
Esplanade
Nothing beats walking along the ocean – there is a sealed path that takes you all the way from The Bluff (at the far end of Franklin parade) to Goolwa (passing through Victor Harbor, Hayborough, Port Elliot and Middleton). There are doggy bag spots along the way
Horseshoe Bay
Iconic, picturesque bay & popular diving spot known for its coral reefs & variety of sea life.
John Crompton Reserve
John W Crompton Reserve – corner of Tabernacle and Nicholas Boudain, a lovely park with play equipment, gardens and a beach on the lake. Great for small and big kids alike.
Kent Reserve
Located at the Victor Harbor end of Franklin Pde, this large park has a small basketball court, adult gym equipment, BBQ facilities, shelters and toilets
Lakala Reserve Pt. Elliot
This very popular reserve features two large ponds where you can relax and enjoy the wildlife. It is a perfect picnic spot with BBQ facilities where the kids can run around and play in the playground.
