The Obertrauner Hof is a traditional alpine building with balconies in most of the rooms with wonderful mountain views. We are situated in the centre of Obertraun, 5 kilometres from Hallstatt

Neighborhood info

The village of Hallstatt situated 5 kilometres away is world famous, which has the world's oldest salt mine. There are 2 other salt mines within a short driving distance. Obertraun has the Dachstein mountain, which has an ice cave, fantastic views especially from the five fingers viewing platform For day out there are towns like Bad Ischl, with a Thermal Spa and the Kaiser Villa, St Wolfgang with the Schafbergbahn and spectacular scenery are accessible with public transport.
