We went on an 8-day Huayuash trek with Erik and the whole experience was spectacular. Erik is a very able and knowledgeable guide. He is eager to share his understanding of the mountains, Peruvian history and politics and the rich culture of the country. The food he provides is delicious and his equipment and organizational skills are excellent.

All rooms at the accommodation are fitted with a seating area and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The staff was absolutely amazing and seriously gave us the best service we had on our entire trip in Peru. The breakfast was really good as well. We also loved the balcony and the views and the little hobby farm.

Wifi was good, though I didnt need it much. Lots of common areas and hammocks. Would def come back.

We where able to check straight in at 7am when we arrived off an overnight bus! and on the day we where leaving we had a 10pm night bus and we where allowed to have the room up to 3pm with no hesitation or extra charge!! Comandante FAP Germán Arias Graziani Airport is 23 km from the property. Great place to stay and the family who runs the hostel is amazing. We were able to check in just after arriving by overnight bus, without an extra fee. Spacious room, hot water, good WiFi. The shared kitchen is upstairs and has nice views over the mountains. We were able to store our luggage for free after check out and could still use the kitchen and rooftop area. We forgot our laptop charger and they went out of their way to go to a courier to send it to our next destination (organizing it online didn’t work), which was so helpful and nice. Couldn’t recommend more to stay here.

A really sweet hostel, Ronald and his family and Dani are amazing, really nice ambience, available tea and a nice kitchen that people gather around, Ronald has a travel agency and you can easily organize your treks and daily hikes from the hostel, highly recommended! I enjoyed every minute there, can't wait to come again :)
