The rooms are equipped with a shared bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. We had a short stay, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Situated at the very end of the Lofoten Islands, this accommodation is located above a Stockfish museum (unfortunately closed during our winter visit) and right next to the bus stop, just a 2-3 minute walk away. There's a fairly big parking spot, making it easy to get to and from nearby destinations like Reine, Moskenes, and Hamnøy. The neighborhood is charmingly quaint, and we had a fantastic view of the ocean from our room. Check-in was smooth, with everything communicated via the Booking.com app. Inside, it's warm and cozy, with towels provided. There's plenty of room for luggage, and the kitchen is cute and equipped with all the basic amenities for cooking simple meals. One tip: there are no convenience or grocery stores nearby, so be sure to bring supplies if you plan to cook for yourself. There were some condiments and spices available for free use when we were there. Huge thumbs up for the location, value for money, and amenities. We'd love to stay here again during the summer!

A light and spacious lounge with a fireplace is also found at Lofoten Vandrerhjem, and the hostel has a garden looking out onto the sea towards Kabelvåg. This is the best hotel in which I had the chance to visit recently. Great and clean rooms, very large selection of food for breakfast, good location. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and acquaintances. And I will definitely come back here when I am in these places again.

Guests at the hostel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Ballstad, like hiking. Everything the bed was so comfy, is basic but you have all you need. Even the owner took us to Leknes because it wasn’t any bus so thank you again for that!!!

I instantly felt safe and at home, which made such a difference while exploring the Lofoten Islands. The place has such a positive energy and it’s perfect for meeting inspiring people from all over the world. I can only recommend staying here. it really felt like a little home away from home.

I was lucky it was only me and one more person. Felt really comfy. With fast walking you can get to the begging of the hike Reinebringen iin 15min:) Northen lights were visible too!
