A very social hostel with a great atmosphere and a great staff. The manager is very kind and helpful, he gives us many tips on things to do on the area and takes us to surfing lessons in the morning if we want. In the evening we all gather around a tasty family dinner cooked by the staff. There's even a skate park in the hostel ! Good location at 15min by walk from town-center and close to several beach in a quiet stress ! Bathrooms and dorms are clean with fans above each bed or AC. I highly recommend this place !

I stayed at dreamy Hostel Arugambay for a couple of weeks whilst in Arugam Bay and I loved it! The staff are super friendly and went out of their way to help, the hostel was always clean and tidy, beds were comfy towels soft and Imade some lovely friends in thechill out areas. The place was near the beach and there have wonderful restaurant also I traveled alone. I felt very safe there. The manager and staff were very helpful to meet all our needs Location is great We look forward to visit again this place Would definitely recommend.

Always went out of his way to accommodate us - sharing extra phone data with us, allowing late check - out due to work commitments, updating us to the air-con room because the fan room was under renovations but with no extra charge. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you so so much

It’s so close to the beach and the dorm was really nice- all the beds have curtains and the mattress is super comfy. The hosts are really friendly & welcoming and taught everyone some local games! Also, the breakfast was some of the BEST food I’ve eaten in Sri Lanka!!
