I also ask for help calling a taxi on the day I checked out due to snow showers. The location is near from Kawaguchiko station, but if you have a luggage it a bit hard to take your luggage because the pedestrian is not so smooth. My room has a window which faces Mt. Fuji. It was soooo great

The guesthouse is run by a very kind and generous young couple who do everything in their power to make the guests' stay as convenient as possible. The place is renovated, well organised and kept very clean. There is a lot of information about Shimoda, and different equipments and facilities are made available for different kinds of activities. The kitchen and the common space for dining, hanging and socializing is furnished tastefully and it also has a nice view over the bay. We met a lot of interesting people with whom we had a wonderful barbecue evening together with the hosts. I would recommend this place 100% to anyone visiting Shimoda. Our whole family is already missing this place.
