There are two shared bathrooms which are always spotless, and the rooms are comfortable, and have outlets and AC/fans. They also often community events which are a lovely way to learn about Jordanian culture and get to know other travelers. The hostel is also located in a super convenient location- walking distance to most places and just a few minute walk to the JETT bus station. Highly highly recommend staying here.

The place is also in close proximity to many sites. I would recommend Wadi Rum Oryx Hostel over and over again for anyone going to Wadi Rum.

Very helpful owner who goes over and beyond to make a stay that is comfortable and just right for you. We are in our late sixties so for us the location was a bit too noisy, so the owner took us to his other hostel (Alamer home from home ) for our second night and it was wonderful. A bit further from the beach but still easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. We loved the very friendly and homely vibe in this quiet location.
