Location is fantastic because it’s directly in front of the bus stop and glued to the supermarket. You can also walk to the Santa Claus Village, the path is beautiful. Important to note: we weren’t able to find the city bus routes in Google maps, but the bus from the city center to the hostel is bus 8 direction Arctic Circle. When returning from the hostel to the rail station, consider the time, it took us more than 45 minutes. We also caught a glimpse of the aurora from the front of the hostel!!! Unfortunately it was too cloudy to see more. Rovaniemi is an expensive place, so this was the most cost effective place we found.

The place is located close to the railway station, 15-20 minute walk from there, which is great! It is cozy, clean and it feels like home ❤️ The owner has everything you need to be comfortable and always ready to help 🫠 And I also met amazing people there during my 2 nights stay. The host was very accommodating for our late arrival, and we were able to do everything on our own. This was our first hostel stay, and we were impressed: aside from sharing a bathroom, which many westerns are not used to, but did go fine, everything was very comfortable, clean, and it was in a beautiful location. I would love to return during the summer months when we could see the surroundings a little better, but the winter month was still absolutely incredible. I will always wonder, however, why Norwegian moose cannot seem to read road signs properly, and always cross at the Caribou signs. ;)

Everything is so clean. Great location, less than 10 minute walk from train station, 15 minute walk to city center, 5 minutes to a grocery. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and give you tips for your trip. Clean, spacious, well equipped kitchen. Hot showers. Cute decor. Nice lounge area with board games. Coffee and tea are included. Doors are automated so you don’t have to keep track of a key. If I would have known this guesthouse was going to be so nice and cozy I would have stayed longer and had a rest day on my trip here. Everything was great.

Hostel Café Koti is located in central Rovaniemi and offers bright and Scandinavian-style rooms and dormitories. Sampokeskus Shopping Center is 500 metres away. Free WiFi is featured throughout the hostel. This hostel is well located, modern and clean. Everyday they serve breakfast and lunch and you get a discount! As well you can use the sauna from 5p.m. till 7p.m. depence on your gender. Overall it was pleasant stay and I highly recommend this place :)

Guest rooms at Stadium Apartments include air conditioning and a desk. Well equipped kitchen, spacious room. The sink in the room was a plus. Everything was clean and nice. Parking also free and right across the hotel.

I had a very pleasant stay at Grand Hostel. Very close to the town center. Breakfast was not included but they offered free coffee, tea and porridge every morning. Erkki, the hostel manager was very kind and helpful and available at any time. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

I found it very easy to sleep inside them -the hostel is close to Santa Village and the airport -close to a grocery store -clean -quiet -cozy -sauna -showers we're nice and warm
