A highlight for me was the presence of two friendly donkeys that roam the grounds—they added such a charming and peaceful vibe to the stay! I traveled without children but brought along my small dog, who was warmly welcomed. The proprietor was incredibly hospitable and multilingual, which made communication effortless. She’s also a certified tour guide for the Dominican Republic, and her local knowledge was invaluable. She even assisted us with arranging a car rental, which made getting around much easier. The accommodations are individual bungalows—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out with private bathrooms. I also really appreciated the communal kitchen and dining area, which included a lovely porch where guests could relax, cook, and connect. Fata Morgana has a calm, authentic charm that’s perfect for those looking to unwind and experience the true spirit of Las Terrenas. I would absolutely stay here again.
