It was a great opportunity to spend with the families. I will never forget their kindness and warm heart. If you would like to enjoy with local people, I highly recommend this house. It was more than expected. They take care of me when I got done. I can't find the appropriate words but I really appreciate their all kindness and All foods they provide for the guests are awesome. You should try it. Thanks to Ema, Rose, the father and others. I will definitely visit there again.

It's not true what other people said about this place. It's an old building, but it's clean, the bed sheets were clean, and also the bathroom. The stuff is nice and helpful.

From the reception I felt right at home. Maria is such a lovely and welcoming host. My journey from Mzuzu Malawi was a tough one but upon reaching the Nest Haven I was relieved.     The hostel is a very safe, quite upscale neighbourhood, where I saw a lot of embassies or ambassador residences. The room was comfortable enough, especially when the A/C was on, which depended on other guests being cold or not. The breakfast was good, considering the price, and it helped get the day started with energy. The swimming pool is a great bonus, as it is very hot in Dar es Salaam, so a dip is always welcome.

    Absolutely loved this hostel! The owners and staff are the loveliest people. The location is great and very safe. There are cafes, restaurants and a supermarket nearby. 15min walk to the beach. The breakfast was really nice. I stayed in the female dorm and it was very clean and spacious. I will definitely be going back at the end of my trip!
