Very nice place, walked into the house, felt being home again immediately, the setting for the living room, dinner, kitchen, isn't like a hostel, just like home. super friendly people work there. breakfast is great. love everything. will definitely recommend it and be back when I am near.

A delightful property on the edge of the historical core: the rooms are in a refurbished school. Staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. Breakfast was a treat. Easy access to the train station and the center.

CTR Guesthouse was in a lovely building in a fantastic location. While I stayed there it was almost radio silent. I barely interacted with anyone coming in and out and in the common area. I had the top floor to myself which meant I had a bathroom to myself as well. The bathroom was super clean and the shower was a nice size. There is one other room upstairs but it was unoccupied. I stayed Sunday-Tuesday so I think that could be why. The kitchen and dining room downstairs are massive and you have tons of space and cookware. I really appreciated the complimentary coffee. The location was amazing. Walking distance right in the middle of the bus station, a large grocery store, and Old Town. Everything was in about a ten minute walk. It was honestly incredible. I would recommend this place if you want some peace and quite or if you are in a group and wanted to rent out some rooms for a longer stay. My only complaint is that the internet wasn't super fast but it still functioned and wasn't that big of a deal. If you need to get work done maybe something to consider.

Awesome hostel, staff, owner, experience. the location is nearly perfect and on a quiet street. the staff is always on top of every detail. the rooms have heaters and are warm. thekitchen is very useable, well equipped . they do everything they can to make it as great as possible.

Great value for money! The room was clean and comfortable, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. The shared kitchen is well-equipped, and the hostel is quiet, making for a restful stay. The location is convenient.

The hostel is inside a typical house in the heart of Braga's center. They have the most sweet and helpful staff, they were absolutely wonderful. I arrived a little earlier than the check in hour, and they accommodated my bags so I was able to walk around the city more freely. Kiddos to the azorean worker who suggested me Leitaria (I loved it). They have a cozy community kitchen with appliances, and a wonderful small garden. The rooms are really nice, there's a curtain in the bunk beds that provide some privacy. The bathroom was spot clean! Really perfect for a solo travelers!

Casa Augusta is a good apartment with some random travellers like myself and a few long-term guests too (located rather close to the bus station). The argentinian guy who was working part-time over there was also super friendly! Apart from that, I had a mistake concerning the dates of my stay on Booking but they solved it extremely fast. Thanks you so much to the nice manager who helped me through WhatsApp in order to change the actual date of my stay at Casa Augusta!!!!
