South AfricaI think for the price you pay and for knowing it is a hostel, it was really good value for money. The rooms were tidy, neat and the bathroom is all you need. The area is AMAZING, really... it is BY the water, BY stadpark, I am not sure how you would get there other than by foot from the train station, but I luckily didn't have a lot of bags and it is not very far, but it is really walking distance to the "touristic" centre I would say, it takes you no time to get anywhere.
The staff was VERY helpful and friendly, there was always someone at the reception and they were always friendly (and I know that working this type of job, you don't always FEEL friendly, but they did not show it, they were really nice).
