Very close to the beach, and it felt like I had my own private room, the dorm is clean, calm and has most of the things you may need, the bed and the pillow were clean and comfortable, and I liked that I had my own fan to use if I needed, all the people in charge were so helpful and kind, especially Mr. Nanda for he gave me good suggestions about where to book my ferry and bus tickets, and I liked that he and the guy in the reception asked me from time to time if I am okay and if everything is fine, because as a solo traveller you rarely hear that.

There's so much to love about this place. Jai is the kindest and most amazing host, he makes the stay extremely comfortable for you and Dar Yasmine feels like a home away from home. I came here solo and was hoping to make friends and Jai really made my short stay so comfortable. He made the effort to cook meals together, drove us to Splash Langkawi, brought us along Cenang Walk, recommended breakfast places and multiple suggestions on things to do. When i needed a new phone case, he took the time to drive us out to grab one at a friend's shop that was at a lower price. Additionally, I stayed in a female dorm and the bed was very comfortable, there's a lot of plugs to charge devices and I basically slept more than 8hrs every night because of how relaxed I was. I also really loved the hammocks and chill vibes of the space, I even did one day of remote working here and the WIFI is GREAT, it was so peaceful and very easy to work from here. There's even a pool for family with kids. Lastly, the location is amazing, it's a 5min drive from Langkawi Airport and 5min walk from the beach so what more could you ask for!

Absolutely love the ease to access this dorm. Feels like a new establishment. My favourite is the kitchen area where travellers could cook their own meal. Spectacular! The design and concept is so industrial yet provides elegant comfort with it's furnishings and fittings. Very well planned and well thought of in terms of space and ergonomics. The patio and general living area is also very interesting, as it intends to allow guests to mingle. I've never seen a dormitory with such careful planning and design.. beats the one in KL.

I wasn’t a fan of the dorm rooms accommodating up to 16 people, especially since that detail wasn’t mentioned when I booked—it felt overcrowded. Luckily, there weren’t many people during my stay. Also, the entrance to the location, called ‘Tandoori House Cenang Hill’ or just ‘Cenang Hill,’ requires about an 9-minute walk in complete darkness at night unless you have a car or scooter, which makes it much easier. That said, the Langkawi staff were very friendly, and the location and sea were absolutely beautiful.”
