Modern hotel/hostel less than 5 minutes walk from Kyoto Station offering everything you need for your stay. Impeccably clean with lots of common areas to enjoy. There was a bar that served several different types of high quality Saki at a discount price. There was a large eating area and kitchen including free tea and the ability to make both instant and pour over coffee There was a cooking demonstration night and a movie night. It's located steps from tons of restaurants, shopping and the largest travel hub in the city. You couldn't posibly be in a better location to explore Kyoto. I stayed in a dorm and the room was large, with big pod style beds with spotlessly clean sheets. Towels, slippers and ear plugs were provided as well as a large selection of books (in Japanesse). It was very comfortable and I slept well. The staff were helpful and professional and were quick to assist you at anytime. My new favorite spot in Kyoto. Highly Recommended.

I forgot my backpack in the trunk of a bus, and one of the receptionists made a call in Japanese for me and stayed on the phone for a long time helping me get it back. The package arrived at the hostel while I was away, and they payed for the delivery in advance. Outstanding. In addition, everything at the hostel works perfectly and the facilities are clean, new, comfortable and just nice. It is very easy to make friends there, I would not have changed one thing.

Very sweet woman working here and speaking with all the costumers, very friendly ambience, it's an easy place to make friends in the shared tatami space. I really enjoyed my stay, it's close to the station, multiple bus stops and in the city center. The place is very tidy, confortable and nice warm shower with towels and shampoo provided. Everyone is respectful and I could also take an afternoon nap in confortable warm bed. There's a nice clean kitchen you can use and fridge yo put your food. Thank you!

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hostel was warm and cosy. I never felt cold even in the bathroom areas. I also liked that there were several toilets and shower rooms so you never have to wait in line The bed and pillow were really comfortable too. Each bed also has a curtain which gives you a bit of privacy. The hostel was beautiful and in a more traditional style. There was a kitchen and small common room which was really comfortable for socialising, cooking dinner and using your computer (sockets available etc).
