Everything was perfect, the entire staff was so helpful and courteous, I can't think of one negative thing to say, other than the front door is a bit hard to find (but that's probably only a me problem)

We had a problem with the room heater which was not switching off. But the host promptly provided us with a second room. In the same hostel we had one more booking after completing the Ring road trip. We opted payment at location but before some day of our stay, the hostel tried to get the payment but was rejected as by credit card is pin locked. Since my payment was rejected due to pin locked my booking was cancelled and I have to book another room at the last moment. This situation give us tension or nothing on us. Please look into this type of situation. Booking.com should also take care

My favorite place to stay in Reykjavik! I spent almost two weeks there and had to keep changing the dates, etc., due to travel conflicts. I was accommodated by the owners immediately and with zero issues. The rooms are super clean, the kitchen is perfect AND there’s a washer & dryer! I barely heard any other guests - everyone was respectful of being quiet at night, etc. I will definitely stay here on my future trips (this was my 6th trip to Iceland). It beats all the overpriced hotels in the area. Perfect location to walk anywhere in the city and a super quick walk to the harbor, restaurants and grocery stores.
