Honestly, after walking from Fisterra to Muxia it was the best place to be! The beds have curtains, so you have privacy in your bunk bed. The showers are big and spacious, and our room had their own bathroom, so it was amazing. Each bed has its own storage space, and an extra blanket and towel if needed. I stayed in many places on my trip to Santiago, but this definitely makes the top 3, probably even taking the #1 spot. The owner messaged me before, so the check in process was super easy, which I was super thankful for! Thank you!

My stay at Area Surf Hostel was wonderful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hostel common spaces are lovely but most importantly the surrounding areas and beaches are absolutely gorgeous. Abel, the owner, is a pro surfer and kitesurfer who is more than willing to share his local knowledge and help you find some tasty waves.
