The air conditioner was handy to have in this weather. It can get noisy if your windows are open but the location is great and walkable to the centre.

Guests staying at this guest house have access to a patio. Outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the fresh air. The owner is a really sweet lady who always made sure we're happy and asked if we need any cleaning. The room is simple but clean and comfortable, we especially enjoyed having a table by the window for work and a fridge with some welcome beers and a bottle of water. There is a basket with first aid, knife and some other essentials in the room whish is a lovely detail. Even though there's just a fan we were okay because the windows with mosquito nets assure good circulation. The wi-fi was good enough for work. It is true that the shower is just a pipe without a shower head but I actually prefer that to weak pressure showers in many other places. Bonus: extremely friendly cat 😁 Perfect location close to the beach as well as the colectivos on the main road. Plenty of great food spots nearby. We would definitely come back!

Situated in Puerto Escondido, less than 1 km from Playa Puerto Ángelito, Casa Sixta a 7min del aeropuerto internacional PMX y 2 cuadras terminal autob ADO features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and a housekeeping service for guests. We stayed here only 2 nights, and really enjoyed the place! It's clean, has everything you need, and even a full kitchen for your use. The beds are very comfy, the AC is strong and there's also ceiling fan in the room. The shower has hot water and proper pressure. The owner, Magnolia, is the main charm of the place. Very sweet and friendly, and accomodating to requests. The place felt like home 🥰. We checked out around 12, but our bus was at 9pm. She let us keep our luggage safely while we enjoyed the beach and then relaxed in the courtyard of Casa Sixta until our bus. If you're looking for a quiet, clean place to sleep, it's perfect. The location is walking distance from the main beaches (we only took taxi 1 time to go further), and the bus station.

David and the rest of the staff are most welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location is perfect in central Puerto with easy access to Punta via a Colectivo and the rest of the beaches a short walk. Quiet but social it's one of my favourite hostels anywhere.
