The hotel is brand new, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed, with modern, stylish rooms and pristine bathrooms. We had a room right next to the pool (yes, there are actually two pools!), making it feel like a private paradise. One of the biggest highlights was the breakfast – hands down the best on Earth. Every single day, we were treated to a different, incredibly delicious, and rich selection of food, showcasing a mix of local and international flavors. We couldn’t get enough! The owners are absolutely wonderful. The host is super friendly, and his wife is the sweetest person ever. She even made us healthy cocktails and packed a homemade lunch for our long journey, which was such a thoughtful touch. Their kindness made the experience even more special. The location is peaceful and stunning, tucked away in a quiet, lush area. However, it’s very easy to reach the beautiful beaches of Tangalle with a quick tuk-tuk ride or by renting a scooter (which we did, and it was so much fun exploring the area!). Even though we skipped the touristy turtle-watching tours, we were lucky enough to see a baby turtle hatching and making its way to the sea while on a walk – such a magical moment! The bed was super comfy, the AC worked perfectly, and we loved relaxing on the private terrace attached to our room. Every single detail was carefully thought out to create an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for an amazing stay with warm hospitality, the most incredible food, and a perfect location, look no further. I 100% recommend this place and would come back in a heartbeat!

EVERYTHING - Manu and his wife Shishi and the house dogs were the best! we felt at home, Manu went fishing and cooked us fresh crabs, shrimps, fish more than we can eat at a very fair price. he also went fishing in the next morning again and cooked us fresh lobsters in the morning free of charge because he didnt have lobsters the night before. he is just too kind and giving. we played card games all night as a family:) rooms are clean and beds are comfy. also hot shower! dont leave this place without eating the seafood!

At the homestay, the units have bed linen and towels. The room was great and modern. A bit out of the centre, so quiet but you need to walk or take the bus/tuktuk to eat or go shopping. The host was very nice and helpful. We didnt had the chance to check the beach near by because of the weather but apparently its beautiful. Good wifi and aircon.

Welcome drink - coconaut is something extra that we did not expect. Rooms has AC, fans, hot water, you can order meals and drinks. We enjoyed very much. Owner is helpfull, very nice man. House is very clean, rooms also.

The owners were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. They prepared a delicious breakfast and snacks for our early morning safari, which was really thoughtful. We also had an amazing tuk-tuk tour around the lake, where we saw crocodiles, water buffalos, various birds, and thousands of fruit bats—such an incredible experience! On top of that, they added a special touch by decorating our bed beautifully for our honeymoon, which made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Tissamaharama!
