When we arrived (which was late due to traffic) we were greeted by the enthusiasm of the host, he helped us with parking and was very excited to show us the place. We felt very welcome. There are private bathrooms which you can book to bath with your friends/family, one of the best thing about this little gem in Atami:) I was surprised by the cleanliness and the comfort level here. it’s a newly refurbished building, it has three floors with a spacious living room/common room on the second floor which is shared by all the customers here. The room comes with a standard toilet and a shower and quite spacious overall. The tatami bed is comfy. Other reviews complained about the location, but because we drive we think it is an amazing spot! It’s 3 min drive from the famous shrine, and 5 minute to the ginza where there is lots of restaurants and shops. You can also see the fireworks display in the living room if you come on the right times:) We didn’t get the youthful and energetic host’s name, but thank you so much we had a great time staying!!

I slept so well and I loved how peaceful it was. It was such a lovely break from the cities in Japan, hiking nearby was really fantastic and I liked the onsens too.

Complimentary simple breakfast is provided. Breakfast was very lovely - super easy, but still yummy. Also great that it’s set up so you can take it away or eat there depending on what your day holds. The private onsens were also wonderful

She was so lovely. This place is close to the bus stop so it’s easy to get around to places like the Kawazu Waterfalls etc. Definitely add the breakfast to your booking it was so good especially since there’s not much around restaurant-wise. The rooms were comfortable and had aircon. Would 100% recommend staying here!
