We cannot possibly say enough good things about our stay at Song Me Homestay. It is absolutely beautiful and brand new. It is a modern home with a gracious veranda outside the 3 upstairs rooms. They have a state of the art water purification system so we can fill our wayer bottles in the kitchen and not have to waste more plastic!!! The mother and son cook absolutely beautiful meals. They go to the market every morning for fresh ingredients. They have a fish pond in the property where we caught our own meal one night. You can order whatever you desire, and they will prepare for you. All the ingredients are organic and fresh. We had use of their laundry machine if we had needed it. The son does river tours to local sights as you wish. They didn't have the bikes for guests yet, so they borrowed from neighbours so we could explore the island and Vinh Long as we wished. It's an easy and pretty walk to the ferry and morning Market ....about 15 minutes. Yiu can even walk to the coconut candy factory if you like. We had an absolutely wonderful time and island itself is so pretty and friendly

A gem in the Mekong. Lovely ambience, creatively decorated, relaxing garden and comfortable beds. The hosting g family is friendly and helpful with lots of advice. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed an evening meal there too.

Situated by the Mekong River, Happy Family Guesthouse features basic and comfy cottages with free Wi-Fi access. Surrounded by tropical greenery, it provides a garden and swimming pool with sun deck.

Our stay was lovely! The family that runs the place is very kind. The restaurant offers a great river view and plenty of vegetarian options. The rooms are simple but clean, and the garden is beautiful, with many spots to relax. The boat tour around the river, which they organized, is highly recommended. They also arranged a bus for us to return to Saigon. Thank you so much!

Nestled a 10 minute walk from the ferry dock this homestay is paradise. You really get to experience the quieter family life of Southern Vietnam. The family here go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I highly recommend using the free bicycles they provide to cycle around the island and catch a good sunset. Rooms are great with AC and the home cooked dinner is fantastic!

Very helpful and sympathic staff. Nice and clean typical wooden room. Decent breakfast. Good dinner at reasonable price. You can book some excursions (boat tour...) or borrow a bike to discover the area by your own. Last but not least : cool down at the swimming pool after a hot day!
