The host Dean was very welcoming and gave us great recommendations on places to visit and foods to eat. Our room was spacious and clean. The main areas are also very beautiful. It was easy to walk to all the main attractions. We had a great time and wished we could stay longer!

Fabulous location, great staff, and comfortable, spacious room. My wife and I were particularly impressed with Bruce and Amber who went over and beyond to make our stay delightful. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. It was equipped with a refrigerator and a clothes washer, which we appreciated hugely after being on the road for two weeks. Parking for our car was located just steps away from the main entrance. We appreciated the electronic door locks which eliminated the responsibility of looking after a room key. After conversing with Bruce about where to eat in Tainan, he gave us a list of his personal favourites. We particularly liked his recommendation for finding a vendor for Mango Shaved Ice. On our own, we found a great hot pot restaurant just a two block stroll away. The location of the Syuan Hotel was excellent, being close to the Confucius Temple, Snail Alley and other sites. The superb Tainan Night Market is only a 10 minute taxi ride away; Anping Old Street takes about 20 minutes. Our photos of the room were taken when we departed. The room looked much better on arrival.
