Based in Uchisar, 300m away from the Uchisar castle, Mayda hotel is the place to stay while visiting Cappadocia. Far enough from Goreme and its crowded streets but close enough to benefit from all the areas' beauties. We arrived close to midnight but we were greeted by our host(owner) who also took the time to draw us a "To do list" for our 3 day stay. I recommend this hotel for its location, price, amenities, breakfast and last, but not least, the management who went well above and beyond the call of duty to make our short stay there memorable with local experiences (make your own pottery, wine tasting)and many more. Looking forward to returning here, Cappadocia and Mayda Hotel.

The owners are very kind and helpful family, You will feel very well there, the hotel has a beatifull artistic turkish style. And the morning breakfasts were really rich and tasty which were prepared by their persian employes. This hotel we will surely remember.

This is a home away from home. The host, Eser, took very good care of everybody.. She upgraded my room for free. Breakfast was plentyfull, and as I couldnt eat it all, she suggested me to take the rest and have it for lunch..She even brougth an extra plate of delicious fruit to my room.. On the day of departure I got an extra 3 eggs to take with me…Before my arrival I had a lot additional questions and it was seldom more than a couple of hours before she had answered my questions. All the hotel including the rooms are lovely decorated with handmade textiles. This was my first stay in Turkey at all, and I cant imagine anywhere where I could have felt better. And not to forget, Eser speaks very good English, which makes everythung so much easier

The location was perfect and very near Uchisar Castle and an amazing view point for the Hot air Balloons.. Excellent Turkish hospitality by the Staff. Riza who was the owner of the hotel was an excellent host and made us feel very comfortable and homely.. A big thank you to him for all the help and support he gave us during our stay.

It is centrally located so many attractions and restaurants are accessible for travellers without a car. There is a beautiful roof terrace overlooking the charming town, great for balloon watching at dawn. Our hosts were charming and couldn’t have be been more helpful with all aspects of our stay in Goreme, problem solving and even providing a packed breakfast for our early departure

Everything ! It was an amazing stay. Beautiful room, with everything you may need. Extremely friendly staff, always here to help us with our needs. We were lucky to have them. Special mention to the breakfast cook, Hilal, who made a us delicious breakfast each morning with a big smile and christmas playlist. The hotel is situated right next to the village, in a quiet street close from a fresh bakery and nice coffee spots (Lemon's house and piccolo cafe). We definitely recommend this place !

Naz, the host. She is exceptional. Of all places we stayed in Cappadocia, this was by far our favourite stay! The room with a sitting area was so nice, clean and comfortable. There is also a small kitchen which is very handy. The location. Avanos was one of our favourite town. This is where you can find a bit of green, which is refreshing. The place is very close to the center and has a playground next to it. I totally recommend this place!!!
