It was IMPECCABLY clean in our rooms. Down the stairs there is a kitchen, which we did not use, but it was really great to have in case we had cheese or other food to put in the fridge overnight. The location is great, and parking spots are easily available after all the tourists leave the town in the evening.

I can echo all the positive reviews already posted for this place. It really was a fantastic stay and our only regret was that we only stayed one night -- looking forward to spending more time here when we return to Obidos. * The room was very comfortable, with a working heater / AC * The interior is as amazing as you'd expect from looking at the pictures, it's a real castle, super cozy, feels like a true privilege to visit and stay in such a place. * Delicious breakfast - could have more options, but understandable since it's a small property and only caters to a few rooms * Location is fantastic, right in the middle of the medieval town

The welcome, the room, the location, in fact the whole package. The lady who welcomed us seemed almost to be running things single handed. When not welcoming guests, she was either preparing breakfast (simple but sufficient) or cleaning the property. She was doing an amazing job and even so never missed giving us a cheerful greeting when we entered or left. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. Plenty of car parking and just a short stroll to the walls of Obidos. We tried the restaurants (O Caldeirao) across the road by the fascinating pilgrimage church (Santuario do Senhor da Pedra) and were pleased that the heavy rain had dissuaded us from walking into town. The welcome and traditional menu was awesome. We enjoyed so much that we visited a second night by which time we were greeted as old friends. We usually always try a variety of local options.

The apartment is in an authentic and old house. It has a wonderful yard with lots of plants. Great location, in the central part of the city. You can park your car nearby. Although the cars passing by on the street were quite loud, we slept well.
