It was a little hard to find. Tucked away in a town square (a largo). Everyone in the town was super helpful from the grocery store employees to the group of gentlemen on the corner. Such a quaint place. The owner quickly came to help us get in because I couldn’t retrieve my email for the door code. Everything was as listed. The shared kitchen had everything you need…including a washing machine. A bonus is the buffet restaurant about 2 miles away. Restaurante Dona Isilda —definitely worth a visit! One price all you can eat & drink—traditional Portuguese

The story behind this place is wonderful. It is an animal sanctuary, offering a new start for animals who were treated badly. Claudia is giving new opportunities to these animals and this creates a connection for me as traveller to be involved with. Guarantee that you have a feeling of vacation on this site. You forget about the unimportant things here. The stay was wonderful at this place. Claudia was very helpful and helped me with stuff I forgot at home. She even helped me ironing my shirt for a wedding I attended. Breakfast was great! Beds were great! WiFi was great! It was extremely silent at night! So nice location. So quiet. Like little paradise. Amazing breakfast by French chef who is actually famous chef and now running the property. Such a wonderful story and real vibe. I would go there back to rest. Felt very luxurious outside vibe because of birds and nature. Also walking around was cool to discover local restaurants. Calming stay. Good bed and AC. Nice stay. Clean pool. Best breakfast omelette in my life. Fresh ingredients from the garden. Also uber worked well as we didn’t have car and got there by uber and then uber brought us to Ericeira.
