The place was wonderful with great view and cozy. Margarida is very warm hearted host always trying to help in any situation. She gave us good recommendations of activities and restaurants in the area. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruits and homemade bread. The wine tasting hosted by Luis was memorable. Unlike any typical tour, it was more of a personal storytelling experience, where Luis shared his own passion and knowledge .

The property is beautifully designed and its location is perfect. The bedroom in the new building is beautiful and spacious. We had one bedroom in the old building which was even larger. Breakfast is so fresh and delicious and the wines are great. We had a great massage treatment and we loved the place. Great team anytime we asked them for any advice.

Casa da Vinha Grande is the perfect place for a truly authentic experience of the Douro Valley. Sofia is a genuine host who is eager to share her love for her region and all that it has to offer. We loved lounging around the house and taking our time and talking to Sofia. We enjoyed a delicious dinner together that she cooked for us. Sofia gave us so many excellent recommendations tailored to our preferences which made our visit absolutely wonderful. Our 9 year old daughter loved spending time with Sofia's adorable dogs and making freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning

Wonderful staff, friendly owners and a rare glimpse into old tradition and refinement. With a nice view of the Douro river, the property is surrounded by vineyard and citrus trees. The stylish rooms are complemented by access to a nice living area and a large dining room. We also recommend the fancy dinner as an experience to remember. One suggestion though, windows insect nets.

Inês and her husband are very caring hosts, when we arrived, we had a small welcoming from them and a presentation on the propriety and how the amenities were organised, the atmosphere was very relaxing and calm, the view is amazing and the pool has a decent size and is not very deep. To bath on the pool looking and the douro river and all the vineyards is just breathtaking. The breakfast has a great variety of food, homemade scones, cakes, and fruit you can choose from and Inês and her Husband are ready to help you if need. The rooms are big enough for a great night sleep. The other guests seemed to be on the same mood, everyone was very quiet and everyone behaved. There are a variety of nearby restaurants you can choose from if you like to get some lunch or dinner. Overall, if you need to get away from your world and enter a new dimension, this is a place to go to!.

Just returned from a delightful stay in Arramar! This small village stole our hearts with its charming bakeries and warm locals. Our host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing attentive service throughout our stay. While the hotel's decor may be a tad dated, its prime location and affordability more than make up for it. Our room was surprisingly spacious, impeccably clean, and boasted cozy beds with soft linens. Overall, a fantastic deal for a cozy getaway!
