I had a truly wonderful stay at this Kattel homestay. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Everything was perfectly maintained, clean, and comfortable. The surroundings were peaceful, creating the ideal setting for a relaxing day. It was truly a delightful experience, and I would gladly return for another stay.

This is an incredible place to stay! I have been fortunate to travel to many places over the years and this is one of the most genuine experiences I have had. It is based in a local area, a lot more calm than busy Thamel and gives you more insight into how local people in Kathmandu live. You can walk into Thamel or can get a taxi/bike easily with the inDrive app. The rooms are comfortable, there is very good wifi and there is an incredible view from the rooftop. Nir and his family will really look after you, but at the same time give you as much space as you need to do your own thing. They will make it feel like your home where you can relax and whatever you do, try their meals in their kitchen…..you will not regret it! I thoroughly recommend a stay at peace homestay.

We came to Kathmandu by night bus and checking in early in the morning was not an issue at all. Very nice and helpful family. We got the room on the rooftop which is very beautiful. The bathroom seemed pretty new.

The overall feeling is like to have a sleepover at your friends house. Welcoming family, always smiling and have kind words to everyone. The owner prepares the breakfast and after asking where can we find mangoes she bought for us the next morning. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to stay at Mum's Homestay and Appartments. My host family have been so kind and welcoming and made me feel as relaxed as I would be in my own home. The property itself is in a very nice neighbourhood close to lots of shops and restaurants and is kept spotlessly clean. The home cooked food however is of such a high standard that I have rarely bothered to eat elsewhere. I hope to return very soon.
