The owners of the B&B were simply amazing. Kind, gentle & helpful :-) The location is perfect for peace & quiet.... away from the hustle and bustle of the "touristy" Flic en Flac area. It was a cool & calm place to rest & recuperate. Everything one needs for a comfortable stay is provided - a full kitchen & a lovely cool patio by the inviting swimming pool (I had the bottom unit for my 8 day stay). The walk to the beach is quick, safe & easy & the delicious boulangerie is just around the corner for fresh croissants & delicious coconut cake. Everything one needs is within a short walk from the house - restaurants, home-made gelato, the "shoppie" (where the helpful owner advised on the purchase of my data for my stay) right next to the bus stop (to Quatre Bourne & Port Louis & Cascavelle Shopping Centre). Just a tip....rather shop at Winners in Cascavelle SC, because the supermarket in Flic en Flac is very expensive & very busy with long queues & understaffed at the tills! A very big thank you once again to Vimla, Pritam & your family for a lovely stay ;-)

We booked Residence Padma for the first few days and were so amazed by their service, cleanliness and location that we ended staying here during all holidays. There is plenty of space in the room, the room is equipped with a fridge, sink, some cups ect. beside having fully equipped shared kitchen. The pool is great to relax on a rainy day. The thing we liked the most is cleanliness of the rooms with daily change of towels, good mattresses and super fast wifi. At first the location didn't feel the best, but as our friends stayed at the beachfront, listening loud music from the cars all night long, we started to appreciate the quietness of the neighbourhood. It was definitely worth the money!

Great host. Cody has been helpful and proactive regarding the organisation of our excursions/stay. The best excursion for us has been dolphin swimming and visit the crystal rock / ile aux benitier island with the speed boat of le Le Gite du Bonheur. Big and clean room. We had our private terrace with a swimming pool view. Good and sufficient continental breakfast.

We stayed 3 nights at Shanti Ghar. We felt at home from the moment we were greeted at the gate by Zak. Comfortable, friendly and lots of tips from Zak and Tom that made us feel like locals. The honesty system for the bar a great idea. The continental breakfast was all you needed to get going. They offer dinner a couple of nights a week, home cooked and delicious. There’s a supermarket down the road which is handy. An ideal home base to explore the SW of beautiful Mauritius.

Cody is a great host that will provide you will optimal assistance. The team as a whole is very friendly, helpful and attentive. Le Gite is located in a peaceful area with lots of greeneries in its surroundings. The guest house has great facilities and services. We had a great experience at Le Gite du Bonheur and we recommend.
