its just magical to be able to stay overnight at Bawa’s residence. Sleep surrounded by so much beauty and authenticity. The staff were wonderful hosts. they explained to us all very passionately. they gave us good recommedations. the breakfast at Bawa’s dinningroom was amazing, we loved it!

Where to begin! As you arrive, from the outside you don't see what is awaiting you. As soon as you enter, it's as if you have stumbled across an oasis! You are welcomed by the very friendly staff, sat on a couch, provided a wet towel to wipe your face and a refreshing fruit juice. Check in is so smooth, we didn't have to do anything. We just enjoyed the juice while the formalities were taken care of. The room was amazing. We had the Simha room, which had the private jacuzzi. It was big and comfortable. Very highly recommended!

An amazing place with a great heart. lots of beautiful arts and crafts, the swimming pool was perfect, the room was very convenient and well designed, and last but definitely not least - the team!! Charming boutique hotel, nicely designed and decorated, with a lush garden. Our room was of adequate size (we would prefer it a little larger), very clean, with comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. Nice (smallish) bathroom. We were warmly greeted and welcomed by the owner who offered excellent cinnamon tea and had a chat with us regarding Colombo and Sri Lanka. He, also, recommended places to visit in town and all his suggestions were excellent and to the point. He, finally, arranged our after-midnight transportation to the airport. If we visit Colombo again, we will definitely stay here again and we highly recommend it for a short or longer stay.

    It’s a wonderful house. I didn’t realize it was a home stay, but was very grateful it was for my list night in Sri Lanka. When I walked in, music was playing and the water sounds coming from the indoor garden’s pond immediately made me feel like I had stepped out of the busy city and into an oasis. Relaxing house with lots of nooks and crannies, areas to curl up and read a book. I wish I had spent another night.
