Hiromi-san was the best host. She went out of her way to make our stay just perfect. We loved the tatami room and the traditional japanese breakfast she made for us each morning and are so grateful that she gave us a ride to and from the train station as well. She was very kind and we felt cared for in her beautiful guest house. ありがとうございました！

This place is an absolute gem! Located right in the historic part of Takayama, which is very atmospheric. The accommodation is like a small apartment on two floors, is newly renovated, and has everything you need. Best of all, it has the most comfortable, cozy beds I've ever slept in! The host is also very friendly and welcoming.
