Staying at Happy Hill is better than staying at a five-star luxury resort or your own home. The owners are two of the most thoughtful and welcoming people I have ever met and know how to make you feel welcome without ever being intrusive. We arrived after a terrible night in which the little girl had stomach problems, we had to check in at 8pm, we advised that, given the situation, we would do it immediately at 5pm. We showed up, desperate, at 3pm and Anne and Mark were ready. They had changed our room to allow us to manage the situation more comfortably and they were very attentive. The rooms are delightful, furnished with true taste and extremely comfortable. They are very clean, I had to lie down under the bed to retrieve a peluche and I didn't see even a speck of dust. The breakfasts are plentiful and delicious! Ask for the yogurt because, I don't know what they put in it, but it's amazing. The place is quiet and we used it as a base to travel around the south west of Ireland without problems. Go there! You won't regret it!

We loved our stay! Clean, beautifully furnished room. Parking is just behind the corner. There was a fridge with plenty food for breakfast, juice, water, tea, coffee etc. and in the morning this super surprise in the form of warm pastries hanged on the door handle. The owner was super nice!

Gorgeous location, amazing views of the ocean, peaceful and serene. Handy parking spot. The bedroom and bathroom were both clean, comfy and spacious- and the shower head had very nice water pressure. The lovely Waterford greenway was 2 mins walks down the road and we could even borrow bikes. But the best part of the experience was the hostess, Catherine and her lovely son, they were both so kind and charming - as Catherine formerly owned a restaurant in the South of France she cooked us up a storm for breakfast each morning and even dinner one evening - It was exquisite! And Ben even baked us some cookies. We felt very welcomed and had some great chats, plenty of tips, all over a delicious food with a stunning view. Overall a really lovely experience and would highly recommend this accommodation and also the Waterford Greenway in particular

Everything was outstanding. Beautiful location, very friendly family and excellent space to relax. The family supplied us with various treats and we were even able to enjoy a jacuzzi. I can't recommend this family and property highly enough. What a wonderful stay we had. Shame it wasn't longer!
