The Old Borough Arms is a lovely oldy worldy building, our room was modern & spacious with a fab en suite shower. The staff were friendly + helpful with ideas of places to see nearby. Delicious breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Although the neighborhood is somewhat divers w.r.t. state of houses, the West Hill Retreat was in very good condition; super friendly host and splendid breakfast served to the room; accommodation was super clean and very well Edwardian style furnished. An outstanding experience.

This is a one-unit apartment above a nice café (the smell of bacon in the morning was very alluring), with nice space and privacy. It is excellently located on the sea front in the Old Town, with plenty of good pubs and restaurants nearby. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. As we left a window open to keep cool at night, some of the noise of early morning (and seagulls) came through, but there was not a lot to be done about that. We would happily return if in Hastings.
