The Shaftesbury was a quaint little hotel in a charming residential neighbourhood with ample street parking. It is just a short drive to the city centre. The rooms are clean with super comfortable beds. The staff are all fantastic and courteous The breakfast was excellent with cooked eggs, meats, fruit, yoghurt and juices. Had an excellent stay. Highly recommended.

In the heart of Dundee, within a minute's walk from tourist attractions such as the V&A/Discovery/HMS Frigate Unicorn/Verdant Works Museums, Slessor Gardens, Caird Hall, DCA, and REP Theatre.

It was very quiet, the room and facilities were very clean and comfortable. In town centre and near all amenities. The decor was also very nice. Highly recommend this place.

A perfect stay for golfer, close to everything I needed during my stay, pubs, restaurants, main streets, golf courses, academy. Perfect instructions for me even I arrived past midnight due my late night, easily got into the guesthouse and the room. Loved Full Scottish Breakfast :)

Lovely breakfast. Really accomodating hosts. The room and the residence in general was really clean an tidy. The beds were quite comfortable and the kitchen was always available for cooking or making coffee/tea.

Boasting water sports facilities and views of sea, The Old Boathouse is a guest house set in a historic building in Wormit, 6.5 km from Discovery Point.

Everything! It's one of the best stays among all our accommodations on this trip. It is very suitable for visiting Dundee and St. Andrews. We wish to stay longer... The view is fantastic. There's a small waterfront area where you can see the sunset and take a walk. Beautiful rooms and well maintained. Everything makes us feel at home.

Our room was beautiful, large, comfortable and very clean. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety. Host Kevin was very friendly and chatty.

I think it's the best guest house that I've ever been. John is wonderful, everything, literally everything is oriented towards making the guest feel welcomed. Very clean, AMAZING garden, really in touch with nature (2 pet mini chickens that I loved, Hasel and Cranberrly - don't know if I spelled it correctly, squirrels, birds, lovely flowers), and still super close to the centre, to everything that You need. Great addition is the coffee and tea machine, the spotless bathroom (practical also for people with back problems like me). The room was reserved without breakfast, but the additional stuff that You can drink/eat in the morning without any supplementary cost is literally all you need in the morning. Really impressed and would love to visit again. THANK YOU, JOHN !!!

The cottage where we stayed was delightful having all the amenities you could want. There was good side well appointed shower/wash room a very generous size lounge area, good bedroom and a very clever fold out kitchen. It was situated in a quiet location and the courtyard area was very pleasant with enough space for parking as well as benches to sit in the lovely garden. The owner made us and our Jack Russell Lottie very welcome and did not mind our dog being in the area outside our cottage.
