FinlandThe owner Viktor was very welcoming, telling stories of Lapland and helping where needed. He encouraged us to go outside and experience the deep arctic winter at -30 degree Celsius, even making a camp fire on the frozen lake in the polar night. There are also two saunas that we got to enjoy. The charm of the old school is well preserved and the common room with its kitchen is very cozy with its own fireplace. When our car didn’t want to start from the extreme cold, Viktor immediately helped and got it going again.
