everything! it was just so peaceful and gorgeous! the staff was amazing, the house has everything and more and the beds/ bedrooms were so comfortable. five star hotel perfection in the middle of the karoo.

The kitchen and service are of a very.high standard and a gastronomic experience to remember. The feet and body massages were very effective to relax body.and soul.

It was a very interesting experience staying in the buildings of the old jail. The buildings have been nicely renovated and although there is still work in progress it did not impact on my stay. Apple Maps unfortunately have the incorrect coordinates for the property so I got a bit lost but on calling the host, I received a pin and after that, got there with no difficulty. Upon arrival, I was met by Eldien who was very friendly and obliging and got me settled in. I will stay there again on my return journey.

the Host was very friendly and helpful. arranged for people to assist us with a flat tyre upon arrival and stayed with us the whole time the repair took place. Hats off the friendly people of Britstown.

This place is absolutely unique. I enjoyed the creativeness that went into preserving the old cells whilts making them modern and comfortable for the guests. Perfect balance between old and new. I had a wonderful stay and was sad to leave so soon. Very neat and tidy. The hosts were also friendly and helpful. We felt welcome from the start.
