It's not because of the facilities but mostly because of the people that greet you and make you feel you're very welcome. We had great meals in the Tagbalayon restaurants. All the staff are very kind and friendly. The service we got was super efficient. We rented a motorbike, snorkel and pick-up services directly with the hotel and everything worked like a charm. Fair prices and excellent service.

Everything, best place I stayed in The Philippines so far. People were so friendly, did a free tour on the reef with us to spot turtles, celebrated the birthday of Charity together.

Good location near San Juan easy access along the perimeter road just hail down a trike taxi. I hired a scooter for a couple of days from the owners which was hassle free. Would definitely stay again.

They are so warm, attentive and a lot of laughs! I would come back just to experience that again as they made my stay really special 😉. The pool and mountain views are wonderful. Also a big positive is the food. Italian menu, freshly made authentic pasta was incredible. The location is also really ideal, just a short 5 minute ride to the busy part of San Juan. It's very peaceful and away from the busy tourist area. You will need to either hire a scooter or tricycle but if you like walking it's also possible, but up hill. The property is right up against the ocean and having breakfast while watching the tide come in is amazing. The rooms were great, cool A/C and comfy beds, and most of all the staff and family that runs Swakihan were so welcoming. We were there during Christmas, away from home, and they truly made us feel like family.

She does everything to make her guests feel as comfortable as possible. Everything was there in the house, even a refrigerator, crockery and a mosquito net. We couldn't have wished for a better stay than with her

This is the very best place we have stayed during our Philippines travels. The property was awesome, the staff were kind, the location was quiet, yet close enough to bars/restaurants/beach. We hoped to extend our stay, however we’re not able to due to them being fully booked. All I can say is don’t hesitate and book this place, you won’t be disappointed.

Very clean, nice garden, shared kitchen, free drinking water refill. We loved our stay here, it felt like a home away from home - thank you very much!
