It was close to a lot of places to eat and areas of interest. The hosts were amazing and so friendly and welcomed us right in. Definitely a good find.

Julie we didn't meet you, but thanks for the lovely touches, a couple of beers and ciders, and the home made bread and condiments were just beautiful! The unit was so spacious, great shower, comfortable bed, and that cow pic on the wall was perfect! Love this place! Great country pub, the hot springs hotel, is 6km away and was also a winner, highly recommended.

Hahei Pavillion Guest House is located in Hahei, within 600 metres of Hahei Beach and 1.3 km of Cathedral Cove. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We loved everything about our stay in Hahai! Andrea and Mike were wonderful hosts, personally welcoming us to accommodation and guiding us to the best local eats and things to do. The room was large, including the bathroom and provided us everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The accomodation backs directly onto a park and tennis court, and provides access to the main strip with the local pub, cafe and convenience store. We also walked to Cathedral Cove from the accomodation via the beach (and pathway that has a sign not to walk though but found it was still walkable, just overgrown plants), it must of taken about an hour to walk each way (the walk is much longer and hilly than I had anticipated, but its a beautiful walk along the coastline so you can take your time and enjoy the view). Its also a 10min drive to Hot Water Beach, and loved that the shovels are provided.
