After being away for 17 years, I decided to treat myself to a weekend back home, and this spot in La Gaulette was absolutely perfect. The apartment was very clean, well equipped, and exactly as shown in the photos. The view from the balcony overlooking the lagoon and Le Morne is simply breathtaking I spent hours just admiring the scenery. Communication with the owner was smooth and friendly, and I felt genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. It’s peaceful, authentic, and perfectly located if you want to explore the south or simply relax. I’ll definitely be coming back this stay reminded me why I missed Mauritius so much.

This was an idyllic, quiet place by the beach, beautiful views of sunset, lovely hospitable hosts, delicious breakfast. It exceeded my expectations. Although I had a lat flight out, they graciously allowed me to stay after chckout and even provided access to a shower before I left for the airpot. AAAAA+++++!!!

Probably the most fantastic accommodation we have ever had in our 5 years travelling. In order: breathtaking view on the benitiers island, rooftop with barbecue with a 360 view on Le Morne and the wild forest, star gazing, bats and birds everywhere, fruits offered, private balcony with everything from coffee to all amenities and laundry. Top care by the cleaning lady, felt like a 5 star resort everyday. Close to the best beach on the island for snorkeling. We also had a private boat tour with an amazing guide by Bianca, learnt so much from the island as he has years of experience living here. Keep it up!

All units comprise a seating area, and a fully equipped kitchen with various cooking facilities, including a microwave, a fridge and kitchenware. Units are equipped with a coffee machine, a private bathroom and free WiFi, while selected rooms also offer a terrace and some have sea views. At the guest house, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. The place is a paradise on earth for nature lovers. My absolute favorite on the island. Iwe just loved the peace, the evening sunsets, the birds, little geckos, crabs around. The room (cabin) is absolutely wonderful with open air shower, the owners and the staff are wonderful. The place is just perfect.

Big swimming pool and jacuzzi that we all enjoyed very much. Well-equipped gym. We used the hammam facilities and the massage therapists were excellent.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a year-round outdoor pool. 5 min walk to beach and market and restaurants. Hosts were very attentive and kind. Studio was clean and had all the amenities described.

At Happy Days Guest House you will find barbecue facilities. Restaurants and supermarket can be found within 5 minutes' walk. One of the best locations on the island. You have few minutes drive-by to the best beaches. There are restaurants within a walk. Everyone is really kind and helpful. All the attractions you need to see are really close. The breakfast in the hotel is really amazing with fresh fruits and freshly baked bread (baguette) each day. You will really enjoy it. The People are wonderful.
