WOW. We booked last minute for just one night, we were lucky to find the Terrace, a small, simple and incredibly peaceful place. The room was clean and spacious, overlooking the valley, good breakfast. Host Ashan is incredibly kind and helpful. Location is a 9 min tuktuk ride from the heart of Kandy (the hotel has one) which is absolutely worth it to enjoy the view and peaceful stay at Terrace Kandy. Thanks again Ashan and everyone who took care of us.

Our stay at Mountain View Guest House was truly a dream come true, a perfect 10/10 in every way! We came here for our honeymoon, and from the moment we arrived, everything felt magical. The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully arranged, with a breathtaking view of the mountains that we could enjoy right from our window. We absolutely fell in love with the peaceful and scenic atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and create unforgettable memories together. But what made our experience truly special was the owner, Kanu. He is one of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve ever met. He went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and exciting as possible. Whether it was offering us rides in his tuktuk to explore the area, stopping at beautiful spots for us to take photos, or simply checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, Kanu was always there with a big smile and a warm heart. His son was just as lovely and helpful, making us feel like part of their family. The hospitality, the stunning views, the peaceful surroundings, and the love and care we received made this trip one we will cherish forever. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon. Everything about Mountain View was mesmerising, peaceful, and perfect. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, with people who truly care, and views that will stay with you forever, Mountain View is the place to be. L’auberge est dans un endroit calme, j’étais dans un dortoir de seulement 2 personnes ce qui est très appréciable et le rapport qualité/prix est top. Tout était confortable et propre et l’hôte est très gentil. Je recommande vivement cet établissement!

L’établissement Smile Hub Kandy -Youth Hostel- se trouve à Kandy, à respectivement 3,9 km et 3,9 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Temple de la Dent et Musée de Kandy. Everything! First of all the people working in this hostel are very sweet helpful and answered all of my numerous questions about travelling around Kandy. The hostel is extremely clean, there are 2 big common areas, a laundry place (for free by the way), 2 kitchens, books and a notebook with many tips for Sri lanka written by travellers (restaurants, homestays, what to visit etc) which I find so useful and so cool! Rooms are big and bright, there is hot shower and AC, a desk with a drawer that you can lock. People are very respectful and quiet here. It is a good 35 min walk to the clock tower but you can take the bus if you prefer. I highly recommend this place, it is easy to meet people and you get so many travelling tips!

The place was amazing, situated within trees in a quiet place away from the noise of the streets of Kandy. Our room had an amazing view of the city, really spacious (we had the one at the top) well equipped and good WiFi (the router was inside our room)! Be was comfortable and the bathroom was one of the largest I’ve seen!

The owner is really friendly. The property was so far the best we stayed in (it’s better than on the pictures). It was really clean. Good value for money. The property is located near the lake, we walked to all the famous attractions.

The hotel is run by a kind and humble man named Dulip, who really made our stay memorable. He took the time to explain everything, especially how to navigate local transport, and even offered to drop us off at the bus station for free. The hotel itself was beautifully clean, with a peaceful, forest-like atmosphere that made it so relaxing. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink and biscuits, which was a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home.
