The View was awesome. It was our 1st day, they did not disappoint us at all! We reached there earlier. But they welcomed us nicely. Good experience!

At the guest house, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. The warm hosts were so welcoming. They helped arrange an excellent tuk tuk driver and recommended a simple restaurant with the best Indian food I have ever had times a million. They also provided us with a delicious breakfast each morning and made us feel at home.

Some of the units have a cable flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, and a private bathroom with a bidet and a hair dryer. The family were so accommodating and were very helpful to share all the tours, local food, cheaper options for my trip. I’m a female solo traveller and I felt right at home here. The whole family made me feel very safe and Karunarathna waited for me at every stop of our tour. This place is very peaceful with a beautiful view of the mountains. The room is very clean, the bed comfy, the option of AC or Fan in the room. The whole family really go above and beyond for their guests and I’m so grateful for them. They are genuinely good people and want their guests to enjoy Kandy! Thank you guys for having me! ❤️

The owner is incredibly friendly and warm. Such a wonderful stay.

Situated in Kandy with Kandy railway station nearby, Smile Hub Kandy -Youth Hostel- features accommodation with free private parking. The property has mountain and city views, and is 2.6 km from Bogambara Stadium. Kandy City Center Shopping Mall is 2.8 km from the guest house and Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens is 3.7 km away. Everything! First of all the people working in this hostel are very sweet helpful and answered all of my numerous questions about travelling around Kandy. The hostel is extremely clean, there are 2 big common areas, a laundry place (for free by the way), 2 kitchens, books and a notebook with many tips for Sri lanka written by travellers (restaurants, homestays, what to visit etc) which I find so useful and so cool! Rooms are big and bright, there is hot shower and AC, a desk with a drawer that you can lock. People are very respectful and quiet here. It is a good 35 min walk to the clock tower but you can take the bus if you prefer. I highly recommend this place, it is easy to meet people and you get so many travelling tips!

The room was clean and very modern, great shower, amazing view, close to the lake (10 minutes walk). A huge breakfast at the balcony, very tasty!

The rooms were large and very comfortable, breakfasts were delicious and varied, and the location is perfect as its just a few minutes by tuktuk into to all the main attractions. But what sets this place apart are it's hosts, Salani and family, who are the most welcoming, generous and friendly hosts you could ask for. They made us feel at home, gave us great tips on what to do in the area and made evey effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Thank you!!!
