The beds were comfy with down pillows and comforters. The bathroom was nice with a very hot shower. The room even had a tiny fridge for drinks and an espresso machine. Outlets next to the beds were very convenient! The location of the hotel was about a 5 minute walk to the city center and a 10 minute walk to Sassi, Matera. There was a parking garage around the corner about a 2 min walk away which was also extremely convenient. Very pleased all around with this room!

The staff provided the luggage storage and texted us as soon as the room was ready, which we appreciated very much. If we find the time to visit Matera again, we'll definitely book this place again.

Le Dimore Dell' Idris is situated in the Sassi area of Matera and offers individually furnished rooms with a private entrance and private bathroom with sensory shower. This property is 1 km from Matera Train Station. We had the most beautiful Cave Suite one can imagine. Good bed, good bathroom, everything very clean. The Lady at the Reception was very nice and helpful and gave good information for visiting Matera. Breakfast on the terrace was great. Matera is special, magical. It was a unique experience.
