All furniture and bed are of high quality, we had a best sleep for the trip here. The lady stayed up late to welcome us after a midnight arrival which made you feel welcome immediately. We learnt a lot about the country and its cities naming root and stuff. Followed her recommendation and love all of them.

The springs were magical and the restaurant (seafood soup!!) was delicious. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we had the northern lights on New Year’s Eve. We loved that we could adjust the check in times, also that we could store our luggage there

If I could give it 11 ot of 10 I would. It is the kind of place I would move to Iceland to live in. Beautiful scenery; quiet - you could not tell that you were 10 minutes from central Reykjaiv. You feel like you are a millionaire - beautiful beach to stroll along; horses to pet a golf course to walk around. There is even a sauna and hot tubs. The room was great with a lovely en-suite.

Eric the Red is a perfectly located Guest House in Reykjavik just 60m/200ft from Hallgrímskirkja Church which is the biggest church and single most central point in Reykjavik, we are in short walking distance from all the best Reykjavik has to offer, whether it’s Museums, Restaurants, Cafés, Bars, Shopping Streets, Parks, the BSi bus station, Geothermal Swimming pools or Lake Tjörnin, and yet positioned in a quiet area of the center. The hosts were very helpful. Altho we didnt get the chance to meet them, instructions were very clear and check in was nice and smooth. Signs and recommendations are everywhere in the property if you dont like talking to people haha. Bathroom was massive and very clean. It was very homey too!

The simply decorated rooms at Guesthouse Sunna feature either private or shared bathroom facilities. All have free Wi-Fi, while some have a TV, a fridge, or a tea/coffee maker. All rooms have access to a communal kitchen. It was exceptionally clean, including the shared facilities. Great location and great value. Kitchen facilities were good.
