I can’t recommend this place enough!

It's in the main street of the town. The host was very kind and helpful with everything we need. The breakfast was great! Would definitely recommend staying there.

This is one of the best places I have stayed. The staff was helpful, the food was simple but delicious, and the connected pub is a good place to have dinner and drink. The location is perfect for exploring the Highlands and is 1.5 to Edinburgh and only a few hours to the Two Sisters and excellent hiking and outdoor adventures. I travel 42 weeks a year for work, staying at some of the best (and worst) hotels in the world. Lochaide Guest House is 100% on the best side, a quiet, comfortable, clean, well-located place to stay that I would highly recommend.

Free WiFi is available in all public areas, and free private parking is possible on site. Perfect place to visit Loch Lomond, very close to the boat trips marina. Also close to the railway. The personnel very friendly and helpful. A lovely place, very scottish.

Standing in the shade of a magnificent 500-year-old oak tree, this traditional bar/restaurant is ideal for those wishing to escape from the rush of modern day life. The non-smoking inn is adjacent to the West Highland Way and is ideal for walkers. After a long day spent exploring the region’s magnificent scenery and breathing in the invigorating fresh air, you can satisfy your hard-earned hunger with a delicious meal. Food is served all day and the bar has a cosy, welcoming atmosphere and a real log fire. Wonderful staff, super friendly from the lady at reception the the staff in the restaurant and bar. We stayed in pod 2, which was warm cosy and spotlessly clean with everything we needed. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant, and the food was high quality, delicious.

The location is perfect near by the train station, the type of room selected is enough for a family, the place is very quite and nice, there is play ground for the kids inside & outside with a lot of option. The owner of the place is very hospitable.

Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is 29 km away and Scottish Event Campus Glasgow is 30 km from the guest house. This was such an amazing find! The owner is very friendly and gave us some great tips for our stay. We ordered breakfast and it was very good! The building itself is beautiful and the room was extremely comfortable and spacious. Probably the best bed we had on our two week trip. The owner said that we could also use the fridge, although we didn't need to, but it could be useful for somebody else. There are plenty parking spots right across the street, next to a public park. Location is amazing, with several restaurants, shops, and good pubs right outside (it is still quiet, don't worry!). Loch Lomond and the castle park are also a minute away. I wish I could stay there for longer.

Guests at the guest house can enjoy a buffet breakfast. Just exactly what we needed to rest from our long walk. Comfortable bed with good pillow and linens. Cute restaurant across the way for dinner and breakfast. The host met us and showed us to our room, which was very nice.
