The owner thought of every detail to make the guest feel at home during vacation from both the style and practicality. We loved that it had a coffee maker and milk in the fridge for our morning coffee. The 3-d map on the wall was a big hit for us! The chairs to watch TV were super comfortable as was the bed. There were blankets and pillows in the living room. Kitchen had everything needed and more like pot with boiled water. Great idea! They have very tasty tap water there. I would highly recommend The Sounds and hope to return myself. The view is spectacular!

Quaint quiet clean room and very comfortable bed. Good location to explore this historic town. Host very accommodating for us late arrivals.
This was an amazing place to stay. It is far better in real life than in the pictures, and the unblocked view of Mount Roland is awesome. Very serene location on a hilltop farm. Simon was a great host (Eileen was away) and provided a generous hamper. Friendly chickens, very friendly dog (Amber) and somewhat wary sheep kept us company. Great location from which to explore Cradle Mountain, Latrobe, Devonport and the surrounding region. The cottage was warm and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen. We loved our 3 days and nights there.
Grev was a great host , excellent quiet location
Quaint property. Very quiet location. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Great breakfast
Charming old building. Excellent complimentary continental breakfast and snack options. Great host. Walkable to the pier.
At Drumreagh cabin is great location, nice quiet but not far from town. Great facility all you need. Plenty of food provided by host. Overall is great we’re very happy with this place. Highly recommended.
The historic nature of the accommodation was lovely. The host was fabulous as was breakfast. The en-suited room was quaint yet modern with a nice combo of old and new. Quiet and great for a night or two. An awful lot cheaper than Strahan which seems overpriced for what and where it is given how close Queenstown is.
It was cosy, comfortable and rustic.Great hosts, fantastic, yummy fruit and vegetable garden. Amazing views and a great walk. Great location to explore this part of Tasmania. Very quiet and peaceful.
