The staff and the owner were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The owner went above and beyond by helping us arrange a birthday cake at a very reasonable price and even assisted with taking photos. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very kind, responsive and at the same time unobtrusive hosts. They got up early to prepare breakfast for our early departure. Hearty breakfasts. I liked the family house with thick walls, not hot in summer. Amazing view of Avanos and hot air balloons from the restaurant and common area. Beautifully landscaped garden and BBQ area. It was possible through the host to book a hot air balloon flight at a good price.

A beautiful place in Avanos extremely well located, wlking distance from historical center, 1 min walk from supermarket and restaurantsbut above all, amazing hosts, extremely kind and helpful. We loved staying at Hikmet's House and really felt at home. The veranda is beautiful and perfect to enjoy a quiet nap or tea, and the breakfast room on the top floor offers a beautiful view on all the surroundings. We highly recommend this place!
