The location is superb, with stunning views of the mountains (when it clears) and a beautiful inner courtyard with flowers and trees. Sitting on the balcony in the morning birding was splendid, and the breakfasts were delicious. The staff — fluent in English — is amazingly friendly and helpful. Also, toiletries came with the room. There are two wonderful restaurants a minute walk away. The beds were comfortable and the sheets pristine. There’s water in the lobby, and you can also ask for a bottle if needed

They made us feel welcom. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They all made sure my stay was enjoyable. The hotel owner, Kamal looked after the arrangements of the transportation for Salangkot view point and let me know in advance that the nationwide transportation strike will be kicked off on the day when I was scheduled to go to Kathumandu by bus. Can you imagine how much his information helped my travel plans and I could be proactive in finding the solutions? Their breakfast was delicious and I loved Masala tea (one of the best I had in Nepal). The hotel location is perfect. It is 8mins walk to the tourist bus station and nice walking distance to Fewa lake. I'd also like to say Big thank you to Chandra who made sure our taxi is coming for Salangkot at 4:15AM!! and to Ashok who dealt with requests.

Nepali Cottage Guest House was the perfect place for our trip! Hemant (the owner) was super helpful, kind and proactive in communication before we arrived. Very smooth and easy going approach! He helped us to arrange and book the bus for us and a taxi ride. He solved our luggage storage as well while we were out of Pokhara. The Guest House has a perfect location - very close to the lakeside area, to all the shops and restaurants, but ''hidden'' in the small street to have a buffer from the noise of the busy nightlife. Very close to the place is a fruit shop and supermarket - which is good for prepping for your treks. The rooms are clean, with an attached bathroom with a hot shower! The beds are comfortable and clean. There was a possibility of having laundry service as well! This place exceeded our expectations and we can highly recommend it! Will happily visit again!
