Location and hospitality. I stayed with my mom here. We are Indians, I am from Canada. We arrived super early by bus from Fes and walked over in 20mins along the main road of Merzouga towards the dunes. Mohammad sorted us out with a room to freshen up and served us with delicious breakfast in the food hall, of course tea and coffee too. He organized a day trip with his contact Mohamed to see Khamaliya village, the nomad settlement and ride on the dunes. He also set us up with a dinner package by 4x4 at a desert camp with berber music. Both at reasonable costs. Due to high demand, camels were not available and were costlier than 4x4. We left early morning next day (bus to Ouarzazate) and again, Moha dropped us off with some food items to go so we don't go hungry. I am biased because I had a good time with Moha who is a commited and open minded human to have as a host. The room has attached bathroom with hot water. There is a terrace to see the dunes from. Merzouga main street with restaurants is a 10-15 minute walk. The location is superb, you can walk into the dunes right outside the gate.

The riad is very specious and clean. Breakfast is so rich that we can't finish it. The staff is very kind and helpful. Love merzouga because of people's hospitality. Strongly recommand it. Will stay here if i am back again

The view from the pool was amazing, couldn’t wish for more. Right next to the dunes, 10 minutes walk to go and climb on them. We stayed for 2 night and have been exploring the dunes twice. We really liked the location, and the staff was nice and friendly too. Totally recommend it.

I've been travel enough to say when a place is really worth to be visiting. Maison Merzouga Guest House and the amazing staff that works there (Isham, Ibrahim, Aziz) made my travel to Merzouga amazing. I don't think myself as a turist, I'm more a traveller, so I was looking to have a real desert experience, and willing to know berbere culture as well. With Lahcen and Ali has been a great connection even before the start. They are people of heart. They helped me to make an once in a life experience in the desert, treating me as a friend, and the whole time I spent in their amazing family building has been like a dream. Now, I can say I have good friends in Hassi Labied and every time I will be visiting Maroc, Maison Merzouga Guest House will be my home.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Hassan and his beautiful family, whose house we stayed in! Highly recommend! Very attentive to details, room is clean , breakfast is fresh and nice, the service was spot on 👌 we also had a lovely horse tour to meet sunset. It meant to be an hour , but Hassan and Muhammad were very patient and waited for a sunset two hours with no extra charge. Very hospitality and lovely people.
