Absolutely amazing experience! I recommend also taking a tour of the house before your stay, as there are many interesting things to see. The stay itself was wonderful, and the staff were very kind and friendly. In the evening, the atmosphere of the house is beautiful, and the sunrise is just as stunning. Highly recommended for architects and art lovers!

Unlike anything I’ve seen before. Rooms and common areas are artfully decorated with trinkets from around the world. My room was overlooking the lake and it felt like I was living in the jungle, surrounded by plants. Bed was super comfy and the rain shower was great. The pool and view over the lake were incredible. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was delicious, we had plans to head out to Colombo but decided to stay and enjoy the property and had all our meals there. A personalised experience with great hosts, thanks for everything!

Looking for history without kitsch I discovered this discrete Guesthouse . Away from the crowds of Colombo, the spacious room and antique charm gave me a fantastic rest after exploring Sri Lanka’s capital. Had a great stay at this place. Actually, the best place to stay while extending your visa:passport office is just 600 m away. It is a nice quite area close to Colombo center. Not on the noisy steer but still close to shops and other facilities. Hot water in the shower, good WiFi. The owner is super friendly and helpful, such a great guy. Highly recommended!

Shalom Villa is a home away from home. Nilu and Iresh make you feel welcome right away and help you with all your travel needs. The guesthouse is away from the noisy and bustling center, but within easy reach using the PickMe App for inexpensive and fast transportation. Coffee and tea are always available and shops are in close vicinity. I also liked the stroll down to the river. With so much nature around one might forget to be still in Colombo. I am looking forward to coming back here and enjoy the hospitality. 🙂

I recently stayed at The Colombo House and had a great experience. The place was clean, comfortable, and located conveniently. I arrived in Srilanka by arriving in Cottage Garden, such a nice place for stay and take Srilankan temperature. Quite, peaceful, with tortule friends who is walking in the garden. Breakfast was very good and generous.
